NOTE: This roll appeared with a Herschell typewritten label during the brief period when the Allan Herschell Company owned the former Wurlitzer roll business. Production of the roll may well have commenced during the Wurlitzer years, and Wurlitzer may even have issued copies under its own label. Similarly Herschell may have marketed late Wurlitzer rolls under its name, though no examples have come to our attention. Don Rand is said to have owned a copy of T.R.T. roll 6692 with a Herschell label. Herschell is known to have issued two Style 150 rolls during the same period, but no Style 125 rolls are known from them.

(Original roll in the Seabreeze Park collection)
(Composited by Play-Rite with roll 6692 and issued as roll 6691-6692)

(Same two rolls composited by Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum)

B. MANUFACTURED BY T.R.T. MANUFACTURING COMPANY

Continuing the numbering of Wurlitzer and Herschell rolls. No attempt has been made to note the numerous small errors on T.R.T. labels. I have a copy of Ralph Tussing's roll shipment logs, 1947-1960, covering all the types of rolls made by T.R.T. Manufacturing Company. The dates shown for rolls 6692 to 6719 are the shipment dates for the first copy sold of each roll.
